Step into the arena — practice on live, professionally engineered labs

AstralGuard presents a multi-stage Capture The Flag (CTF) competition built by seasoned security professionals. These environments mirror real-world systems — not simulations. Expect progressive web exploitation challenges that demand skill, strategy, and discipline.

How it Works
Students of AstralGuard Cyber Academy participate free. Public entry fee: 25,000 UGX. Payment & verification are required for lab access.

About the Event

Qualified participants will confront staged web exploitation challenges designed to test practical skills, tactical decision-making and collaboration under time pressure. Successful competitors earn community recognition and potential refunds when applicable.

How It Works

  1. Register via the official form.
  2. Pay (non-students) — 25,000 UGX. See: Payment & Methods.
  3. Verification & Codes — After payment verification you'll receive a unique lab access code. A second CTF access code will be issued before the event. Students receive only the CTF access code.
  4. Practice on live labs until the event.
  5. Compete — all participants start simultaneously; solve stages within allotted time.
  6. Recognition — complete all stages and comply with rules to qualify for community recognition and a possible refund.

Instructions

Before the CTF begins, ensure you have:

  • A stable internet connection
  • Modern web browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended)
  • Note-taking application for documenting your progress
  • Basic understanding of web security concepts

During the CTF, you'll receive challenges that test different aspects of cybersecurity. Read each challenge carefully and approach them methodically.

Rules & Code of Conduct

  • Integrity is mandatory. Unauthorized collaboration or cheating is prohibited.
  • Never share flags, solutions, or walkthroughs during the event.
  • Do not attack systems outside the defined CTF environment.
  • Automated tools are forbidden unless explicitly allowed in a challenge.
  • Violations result in immediate disqualification and other consequences.

Refund & Recognition
